When it comes to nail care, many people worry about the chemicals used in salons. Traditional nail salons often use acrylics and acetone, which can be harsh on nails and skin. At Del Rey Spa, you can enjoy a manicure experience that is both safe and gentle. This salon stands out by avoiding acrylics and acetone, focusing instead on non-toxic gels and a gentle European manicure technique. This approach protects your nails and overall health without sacrificing style or quality.

Why Choose a Non-Toxic Nail Salon?

Many nail products contain chemicals that can cause damage or irritation. Acrylic nails require strong chemicals to apply and remove, often weakening natural nails. Acetone, commonly used to remove polish, can dry out nails and skin, leading to brittleness and discomfort. Choosing a non-toxic nail salon means avoiding these risks.

Del Rey Spa offers a healthier alternative by using products free from harmful chemicals. This means:

  • Nails stay stronger and healthier over time

  • Skin around nails remains hydrated and soft

  • Reduced risk of allergic reactions or irritation

  • A safer environment for clients and nail technicians

This approach is especially important for people with sensitive skin or allergies, pregnant women, and anyone who wants to avoid toxic exposure.

What Makes Del Rey Spa Different?

Del Rey Spa does not use acrylic or acetone on your nails. Instead, they offer a gentle European manicure with non-toxic gel polish. This method is designed to care for your nails while giving you beautiful, long-lasting results.

Gentle European Manicure

The European manicure technique focuses on nail health and natural beauty. It includes:

  • Careful nail shaping without aggressive filing

  • Cuticle care that avoids cutting or damaging the skin

  • Use of nourishing oils and creams to hydrate nails and hands

  • A relaxing hand massage to improve circulation

This method respects the natural structure of your nails and skin, preventing damage and promoting strength.

Non-Toxic Gel Polish

Unlike traditional gel polishes that may contain harsh chemicals, Del Rey Spa uses non-toxic gel products. These gels:

  • Are free from harmful substances like formaldehyde, toluene, and DBP

  • Cure under LED light without heat spikes or discomfort

  • Provide a durable, glossy finish that lasts for weeks

  • Remove easily without acetone, using gentle soaking methods

This means you get the benefits of gel polish without exposing yourself to toxic chemicals.

Benefits of Avoiding Acrylic and Acetone

Healthier Nails

Acrylic nails require strong adhesives and chemicals that can weaken your natural nails. Over time, acrylics can cause thinning, peeling, and breakage. By avoiding acrylics, Del Rey Spa helps your nails stay strong and grow naturally.

Acetone is a powerful solvent that removes polish quickly but also strips moisture from nails and skin. This can lead to dryness, cracking, and irritation. Del Rey Spa’s acetone-free removal process keeps your nails hydrated and healthy.

Safer for Clients and Technicians

Using non-toxic products creates a safer environment for everyone. Nail technician at Del Rey Spa avoid inhaling harmful fumes, which can cause headaches or respiratory issues. Clients benefit from reduced exposure to chemicals that may trigger allergies or sensitivities.

Environmentally Friendly

Non-toxic nail products are better for the environment. They reduce the release of harmful chemicals into the air and water. Del Rey Spa’s commitment to non-toxic care supports a cleaner, greener planet.

What to Expect During Your Visit
