PDRN Facial in San Diego: Our November Special at $140
November is the quiet month for skin in San Diego. The summer sun is behind us, the holidays have not started yet, and the air finally turns a little cooler and drier. It is the best window of the year to work on repair rather than damage control — which is why our facial of the month for November is the PDRN Renewal Facial, $140 through the end of the month.
What PDRN actually is
PDRN stands for polydeoxyribonucleotide. It is a purified fragment of DNA, most often sourced from salmon, that has become one of the most talked-about ingredients in Korean skincare over the last few years. Korean formulators like it because it is gentle: it works with the skin barrier instead of stripping it, so it suits people whose skin reacts badly to strong acids and aggressive peels.

We use PDRN in topical form — a concentrated ampoule applied to clean skin and driven in with ultrasound and massage. It is a cosmetic facial treatment, not an injectable, and no needles are involved at any point. If you have seen PDRN mentioned alongside injections or "skin boosters", that is a separate medical procedure done by a doctor or nurse, and it is not what we offer.
What the facial does for your skin
The point of this treatment is recovery and comfort rather than dramatic peeling. Over a course of visits, clients most often notice:

- Skin that feels calmer and less reactive, especially after a summer of sun and salt water
- Better hydration that holds through the day instead of fading by lunchtime
- A smoother, more even surface, so makeup sits better
- Less visible redness in skin that flushes easily
- A softer look to fine lines that are mostly dehydration lines
Who it suits best
This is the facial we reach for when skin needs rebuilding rather than resurfacing.
- Dry, tight or dehydrated skin heading into the cooler months
- Sensitive or easily flushed skin that cannot tolerate strong peels
- Skin recovering after a summer of sun exposure
- Anyone who wants a glow before holiday photos without downtime
- First-time facial clients who want something gentle to start with
What happens during the appointment
The visit runs about an hour and follows the same structure as our other European facials, with the PDRN ampoule at the center of it.

- A double cleanse, then a look at your skin under the lamp
- Gentle exfoliation chosen for your skin that day — enzymes for sensitive skin, a light scrub for resilient skin
- Steam and gentle extractions only where they are needed
- The PDRN ampoule, applied and worked in with ultrasound and a calming facial massage
- A mask suited to your skin, then moisturizer and SPF
There is no peeling, no flaking and no downtime. Most clients go straight back to work or out to dinner afterwards. Skin usually looks its best two or three days later, once everything has settled.
Korean skincare in a European studio
We have always worked with professional European lines — Dr. Kraut Milano from Italy and Anna Lotan from Israel — and this year we added Korean skincare to the shelf, including The Barum, a brand built around gentle, barrier-first formulas. The two traditions fit together better than people expect. European facials bring the structure and the hands-on technique; Korean formulations bring ingredients like PDRN that calm and rebuild rather than strip. The PDRN Renewal Facial is where the two meet.

The November price: $140
Through the end of November the PDRN Renewal Facial is $140. It is a one-hour appointment and it includes everything above — no add-on charges and no upselling in the room. If you have never had a facial with us before, this is a gentle one to begin with.
